Signal Spiral features 6 tracks taken from a series of experimental recordings by Ric Booth.

It combines chopped voices, acoustic instruments and found sounds with warm fuzzy synths, granular textures and snippets of disintegrating field and tape recordings.

The result is a textural and cinematic sound collage, exploring ideas of perception and memory within a shifting sense of scale. 

RIc will release the album “Shells that look like Waves” later this year with further tracks from the same recording sessions.
