Based on the compositions of singer-songwriter Roshan Lal, and recorded with his band of multi-instrumentalists, those unknown we resemble features lush strings, woodwind, brass, dulcimer and guitar, with intricate orchestration, jazz-inflected rhythms and multi-layer harmonies.

The album follows 2022's Ask the Minute Hand and continues ROSH's meditation on themes of solidarity, loss, hope and shared communal experience.
